From November 17 to 19, the Stainless Steel World Conference & Exhibition once again dazzled the MECC in Maastricht, the Netherlands. With a record number of exhibitors, conference delegates and visitors, it was surely a sign that the corrosion resistant alloy industry is moving out of the doldrums and gearing up for a comeback.
The conference rooms were also busy with over 270 delegates in attendance. The three-day technical event was carefully compiled with input from a large number of people, one of which was Marc Wilms, this year’s conference chairman:
The highly specialised event attracted visitors specifically involved in the specification, manufacture, sale or use of stainless steels, and a glance at the busy stands confirmed that once more exhibitors enjoyed high attendance by this target audience.
