Events just around the corner
Included with this issue of Stainless Steel World, you will find the twelve-page Advance Conference Program for the Stainless Steel World Americas 2012 Conference & Expo. It will be held in Houston, Texas, USA, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 16th/17th, 2012. The program is intended to provide you with a good preview of what you can expect to find there, particularly with regard to the two-day conference. Further the broad experience of the Steering Committee as a whole, and that of this year’s leaders of the event in terms of Chairman, Session Chairs, and Moderators (see pages 3–5) will ensure a top-class quality conference with topical themes whose main aim is to provide solutions focused on stainless steel and CRA selection, performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.” Running alongside the Stainless Steel World Americas conference will also be a workshop organized by the Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricator Association’s (STI/SPFA) on ‘Pressure Vessel and Steel Tank Fabrication using Stainless Steels.’ It will be held on Wednesday morning, October 17th. Running parallel to the event will also be a considerable exhibition showing the wares of some leading international stainless steel companies.
