Nordex wins Haut Plateau Picard wind farm project

Nordex SE has received an order to supply and install the Haut Plateau Picard wind farm. This project consists of eleven turbines from the N100/2500 series, which Nordex will install in spring 2015. The project has been planned on Nordex technology thanks to Volkswind France SAS, a developer and independent power producer that has already realised a major project with Nordex in Germany.... Clean Marine wins EGCS installation contract

Clean Marine has been selected by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea to supply exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) for two new MR tankers. The two MR2 type tankers are part of a series of five sister vessels to be constructed at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.

The Clean Marine EGCS will enable the new medium-range tankers, owned and operated by a British oil major, to comply with IMO’s convention for the reduction of sulphur oxides (SOx) in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) to 0.1% by 2015 and global emission level to 0.5% by 2020 without switching to more expensive fuels.

Clean Marine EGCS enables vessels to trade in all waters and ports well within the IMO and local regulations.... Read more...

MMFX hires new regional sales manager

MMFX Steel Corporation has appointed Richard St. Martin as its new regional sales manager for Eastern Canada. St. Martin will be responsible for growing the acceptance and use of MMFX rebar throughout the Eastern Canada market.

Double success for InterMoor offshore China

InterMoor has completed two major offshore projects for China Offshore Oil Engineering Corporation (COOEC) with support from Acteon sister companies in the Panyu and Enping fields, Pearl River Mouth basin, South China Sea.

Another 50MW order from Hanas for Vestas

Vestas has received an order from Hanas for a total capacity of 50MW. This is the fourth order from Hanas in 2014. The Hanas order features 25 V100-2.0MW turbines to be installed in Ningxia, a province in the northwest of China, during the second quarter of 2015.
