TMK, MMK agree on price formula for rolled sheet

TMK signed an agreement with Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) at the METAL-EXPO 2014, an international industrial exhibition held in Moscow, for the pricing formula to be used for calculating the pricing of wide hot-rolled sheets shipped to TMK enterprises.

MMK is expected to ship wide hot-rolled sheets to TMK's Volzhsky Pipe Plant, which would use them to produce large diameter pipes (LDP) intended for major Russian gas pipeline projects by Gazprom, including Power of Siberia, South Stream and Bovanenkovo–Ukhta.... Read more...

Vallourec wins Kaombo offshore project contract

Vallourec has been awarded a contract to supply premium tubes and connections for the ultra-deep offshore Kaombo project in Angola, operated by TOTAL E&P Angola. As part of this contract, Vallourec will supply 27,000 tons of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) for wells drilled within 1,400m to 2,000m water depth and reaching up to 5000m drilling depth....
